We found Paula online after bringing home a newborn to our two Rottweilers—a senior dog and an energetic puppy. We needed expert guidance on introducing the dogs and keeping them calm and neutral around the baby. Working with Paula has been a wonderful experience; we’ve seen fantastic progress and felt fully supported every step of the way.

Paula has transformed my life! My dog came from a severe hoarding case and has had serious behavioral problems that have made some aspects of my (and his) life unmanageable. I've worked with three different behaviorists and made some headway but not enough. After only 8 months of working with Paula, my dog has improved by leaps and bounds. She's taught me the importance of predictibility, routine, and giving my dog agency and autonomy, with lots of practical suggestions and coaching to put it into practice. He used to bark like crazy at men or anyone entering a room, and now he just sleeps. He used to become triggered/afraid so often, at all sorts of things (suitcases, boxes, my shoes) and now he's so much more relaxed. I've noticed him playing with toys more, exploring more, and seeming more comfortable being alone. And the best part is that all she taught me to implement is really quite simple — no crazy routines or hours of obedience work — but I couldn't have pieced it together without her. So so grateful to Paula!

Paula's outlook and pedagogy is a breath of fresh air. After two unsuccessful attempts with trainers, I was feeling pretty pessimistic about finding a behavioralist who would be willing to work with my dog. After 3 months, I can confidently say that my dog is more relaxed, content, and settled in thanks to the scaffolding that Paula has provided for us. Paula focuses on how we can change our environment to meet my dog where she's at, not how I can make my dog obey or conform into an unrealistic standard.
